In loving memory of Kim Christian Dalby February 3, 1944 - August 29,2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kim Christian Dalby, beloved husband, teacher, veteran, and healer, who left this world on August 29,2025. Born on February 3rd 1944, Kim led a life marked by dedication, service and deep compassion. He proudly served his country in the US Army instilling discipline, strength and leadership in those around him. His commitment to service extended beyond the military into education, where he shared his passion for music as a school band director, inspiring generations of students to find their own voice through the arts. To his family and friends he was more than his titles. He was a loving husband, wise mentor, and a steady compassionate soul. His laughter, stories and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife Christine Dalby along with 6 siblings, Diana Edvalson, Rebecca Nelson, Bruce Dalby, Vicky Sweet, Cindy Watson and Mariann Wilkinson, and daughters Keirsten de Jongh, and Michelle Dalby as well as Christine's four daughters Trisha Anderson, Leslee Gobelman, Nicole Westover and Natalie Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents Max Dalby and Betty Marler Dalby, brothers Jonathan and Chris Dalby as well as Children Travis, Camille and Bret Dalby.
A Celebration of Kims life will be held on September 28,2025 at Murray Park Pavilion #2 from 11AM - 2PM. Where friends and family are invited to honor his memory and the extraordinary life he lived. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelter.
