Kim will be missed. I had the privilege and honor of being his minister (home teacher) for over 15 years. We will miss his wit and kindness. At a scouting event we won a tile job from him (he graciously donated his time). I have beautiful tile in my upstairs bathroom. We both love Utah football and every game we text back and forth. I really missed our texts last Saturday. He even gave me a garden sized Utah flag. I proudly display it in the front of my house. Kim was a spiritual giant and all around great man. My son just left on a mission and he told my son seven days with no prayer makes a week (you weak). Kim my family eternally loved you. Till we meet again.

Oh how we love Kimball H Wood. 39 years ago we were babies wanting to build a home, he showed us his beautiful home and said let me build this exact home for you, but just a little better!!! He came to Tremonton, Utah and lived with us during the week and built our dream home!! We laughed and I cooked what ever he wanted at night for supper. We learned so much and became lifelong friends!!!
When we were ready to do the finish work on our basement 10 years later, who showed up on our doorsteps, Kimball himself. He didn’t want us to mess up “his” house. We still
Live in our dream home. Many of his touches will always remind me of his talent and the pride he took in his craft!!!
We love you Kimball, give my sissy Nancy a big hug and know your laugh will be so missed!!!

Kimball and I participated in the 1986 St. George Marathon. My time was 3 hours and 40 minutes. I waited to see my dear friend Kimball cross the finish line. After six hours from the start of the Marathon the organizers had finished cleaning the up the race. Everyone had gone home. But then in the distance I saw Kimball still moving forward. When he crossed the finish line a sports reporter from KSL came up to him and asked, “Were you in the Marathon?” Kim answered, “Yes.” The reporter said most all runners had been done for hours. He further asked Kimball why he put himself through such pain and anguish?” Kimball replied, “Far better to enjoy and suffer much to win glorious triumphs though checkered by failure than to take rank with those that no not victory or defeat.” The sports reporter went nuts with Kimball’s reply. The next night during sports the reporter told Kimball’s story.

I had the honor of knowing Kim for 30 years.
Kim always had a smile on his face and was pleasant to be around. He would refer to himself as “Brother Web”so that’s what we would call him. Kim will be missed by all of us that had the pleasure of knowing him.
We love you Kim! Rest in peace!
