Kris Anthon Nielsen's Obituary
Kris Anthon Nielsen, 51, a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend left Thursday, June 4, 2015 on the ultimate ski trip where the powder never ends.
Born March 14, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents E. Paul and Joan L. Nielsen. Kris married Lisa Kwant Nielsen on April 9, 1994, they have two wonderful children, Hannah Leigh Nielsen and Benjamin Kris Nielsen. Later divorced. Kris then found the love of his life, girl friend Annette Smith. Kris will be remembered for his musical talent, willingness to help out no matter the situation, his supreme wood working skills, and the ability to make everyone laugh. He worked for M&M Tool for 33 years sharing extensive knowledge of the wood working industry, earning the reputation as MacGyver, the go-to guy. Kris will be remembered by all his buddies from the lake, the ski slopes, and many fishing and camping adventures as a happy, go-lucky guy.
Survived by his two children, Hannah Nielsen, Benjamin Nielsen; siblings Eric Nielsen (wife Laura Perkins), and Kimberly Boswell (husband Drue Wright); nieces and nephews Zak Boswell, Austin, Jenna, Brittany, and Sabrina Wright;and girlfriend Annette Smith.
A celebration of his life will be held 6:00 p.m.., Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Mid valley 1st ward, located at 1050 East Chapel Hill Dr. (7410 S.), Midvale, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the K. Nielsen Children College Fund (#5453814419), at any Wells Fargo Bank. Kris once said,
“I may not be a rich man, but my kids make me feel like a king.”
