Kristen Marion Strebel's Obituary
Kristen Marion Strebel passed away on Monday 4/11/2022 after a long 3 ½ year battle with Cancer.
Kristen was born on December 12, 1969 to John and Mary Grace Osborne in Bemidji Minnesota. Her brother Andrew, joined the family in 1971. The family moved to West Weber, Utah, in 1978.
Kristen was active in the junior posse, and tumbling competing in many tumbling competitions. She also enjoyed skiing and the outdoors. She attended and graduated from St. Joseph’s high school where she was a Varsity cheerleader.
Kristen married the love of her life, Jeff Strebel, in November of 1992. Together they have two amazing children Zachary John and Alexis Grace “Lexie” Strebel.
Kristen put 100% into everything she did. Family, friends and work meant the world to her. Whether it was at the sand dunes with her husband, her toes in the sand in Hawaii, or serving drinks to customers at the Timbermine, she made the most of every day and situation.
Kristen enjoyed planning holiday and fun with family and friends. She was always there if someone needed help with anything and had the biggest smile on her face while doing it. She enjoyed arts and crafts and her annual trips to Park City with the Park City Sisters.
Kristen work as a Manager at Sams Club until deciding she wanted to be a full time Mom. She then worked part time for her step-dad and started working as a cocktail waitress at the Timbermine Restaurant. (She loved her family at the Timbermine). When her step-dad passed she started work as a lunch lady at Walquist Jr High.
Kristen will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.
Kristen is survived by her husband, Jeff Strebel, children, Zach and Lexie, her brother Andrew (Michelle) Osborne and her mother Mary Grace Draney.
Kristen is preceded in death by her Father John Osborne, her step-father Ronald Draney and her grandparents Bob and Dorothy Rowe.
In lieu of flowers if you would like to make donations to the Huntsman Cancer Center in Kristen’s name or to the family, and that donation will be made at the end of May.
