Kurt Edison Stafford's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Kurt Edison Stafford
Kurt Edison Stafford, 49, of Plain City, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on November 19, 1974, in Albany, New York, Kurt was the cherished son of Calvin and Fran Stafford. He graduated from Colony Central High School before embarking on a journey that would lead him to serve in the United States Air Force starting in 1993, where he earned an Associates of Aircraft Metals Technology. In 1995, his service brought him to Hill Air Force Base in Utah, a place that would become his home. It was here that he met Camille, the love of his life, and they were united in marriage in 2004.
Kurt's spirit was vibrant, enriched by his unique sense of humor and his passions for music, Legos, and Star Wars. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was golfing, fishing, or camping. A devoted uncle, Kurt took great joy in spending time with his nieces and nephews, engaging them with laughter and games, building with Legos, and enjoying countless movie nights filled with fun and giggles. His big-hearted nature made him a beloved figure in their lives, and he will be profoundly missed.
Kurt leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Camille Stafford, and their beloved fur baby, Lucy. He is also survived by his brother, Greg Stafford (Kaylynn), along with numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Fran Stafford, and his beloved nephew, Cory Haney.
Kurt’s legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May we honor his memory by embracing the joy he brought to our lives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 23 from 1pm-3pm at Premier Funeral Service located at 5335 S 1950 W Roy, Ut 84067.
