Kurtis Blake Frieberg's Obituary
Kurtis (Kurt) B. Frieberg, 53, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away unexpectedly while visiting family and friends in Utah on March 31, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 15, 1968 to Ronald and Joan Rapp Frieberg.
Kurt was a saint of a man who gave the best hugs and had a great love for his family. His greatest joys were road trips with his wife Jennifer, cooking, Indy car racing and spending time with his children, family and friends. He was most passionate about teaching them to make good choices, being true to oneself and listening to a higher power. Kurt will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by the love of his life, his wife Jennifer, two sons, DJ and Cam, brothers Brad (Kathi) and Blair (Laura), nieces Meredith (Andrew), Diana (Ross), Melissa (Ben) and Jennifer (Ryan), and his adoring granddaughter Amaya who loved her “PopPop.”
The family will hold a private service and encourages everyone, as Kurt did, to enjoy each day they are given. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Kurt’s honor to Light of the Valley Lutheran Church at https://www.lotvlayton.org.
