Kyle Lind's Obituary
Kyle Lind peacefully passed away surrounded by family on November 4, 2024. Kyle was born July 22, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Carl and Verla Lind. Kyle graduated from Murray High School in 1975 where he was a standout football player and received All-State recognition. He then went on to play football for the University of Utah and later in life got his degree in Bachelor of Science from Full Sail University. Kyle’s passion was playing the piano; he was a crowd favorite everywhere he played. He also loved to vacation, he enjoyed the finer things in life, some would call him “first class”. Kyle was the “cool” guy that everyone loved to be around. There was never a dull moment when he was around. His huge smile and loud voice was infectious and put everyone in a good mood.
Kyle is survived by his wife Danfeng Meng, 2 sons, Joshua Lind and Jason (Amber) Lind, 1 Stepson, Jia Wei Zhang, 2 siblings, Shelly (Randy) Parker, Kory (Angela) Lind, 9 grandchildren, Dominic, Donovan, Ary, Aaden, Anelycia, Easton, Kannon, Ming Yu, An Yu, plus many nieces and nephews.
Kyle is proceeded in death by his parents Carl and Verla Lind and step-father Keith Hamp.
Funeral services for Kyle will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5200 South Glendon Street (700 West) Murray, UT 84123. Graveside services to follow at Memorial Redwood 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, UT 84084. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a viewing on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 6PM-8PM and Monday, November 11, 2024 9:30AM-10:45AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5200 South Glendon Street (700 West) Murray, UT 84123.
