LaMont Marvin Wright's Obituary
On Monday, July 25th 2022, LaMont Marvin Wright, loving father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 84. LaMont was born December 18, 1937, in Bingham City, Utah. He was raised by Marvin and Mary Wright. He graduated from Westchester High School in 1956 in Los Angeles, California. Shortly after, he enlisted in the Army National Guard in June of that same year. He was honorably discharged in 1964. In the Fall of 1966, he attended the University of Hawaii and successfully completed Elementary Architectural Blueprint Reading course. He went on to become a contractor in multiple states. LaMont enjoyed many hobbies such as baking, computers, amateur geology, scouting, camping and hiking. He had a curious mind and liked to understand how things worked. He is survived by his 5 children, Michele Bolton, Cameron Wright, Jennifer Gunnell, Sanford Wright, and Marie Wright. Other survivors include his grandchildren Maiya Bolton, Aliya Bolton, Tiyana Bolton, Spencer Gunnell, Emily Gunnell, Cole Burkman, Benjamin Elkins, Kevin Selway, Kenneth Suyeyoshi, Kyle Suyeyoshi, and Anika Wright.
