LaRell J Knight It is said that Dementia (early vascular) is a disease of a thousand good-byes. LaRell’s final good-bye came on November 9, 2012, at his home in Bountiful, Utah. He was 77. LaRell was the 11th and youngest child of Nathan Kinsman Knight and Lucy Stokes Knight. He was born in Sigurd, Sevier Co., Utah, in the final minutes of December 31, 1934. He attended schools in Cleveland and Salt Lake City, Utah, graduating from West High. He was a skilled automotive machinist and mechanic and worked on many kinds of vehicles. He also tended his large garden and orchard, which he loved, earning ribbons in County and State Fairs. He married Carol Anne Winkler, September 20, 1957 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They had seven children: Barbra, Laurie Edwards (Randy), Susan, Brenda Johnson (Randy), Sharon Montgomery (Vaughn), Nathan (Jan) and Gary (Heather). They have 14 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He is survived by his wife, and sisters Vonda Roberts and Joan (JoAnn) Moser. A viewing will be held at the Bountiful 12th Ward, 1475 N. 300 W. on Wednesday, November 14th from 6-8 PM and again from 10-10:45 AM Thursday, November 15th prior to services at 11 AM. He will be interred at the Bountiful City Cemetery located at 2224 S. 200 W. Online condolences at www.premierfuneral.com
