Larry Howard Burt's Obituary
Larry Howard Burt, 79, passed away on May 2, 2016. He was born on February 3, 1937 in Salt Lake City to Howard J. Burt and Edna E. Wilbur Burt (later divorced) .Larry graduated from South High School in 1956.
He worked at Shriners Hospital for over 27 years, he received several commendations for his good work and always being there. Besides taking care of is invalid mother the last few years of her life. He was an avid Bees baseball fan. To him his life ended when he could no longer attend their games.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dale.
Larry is survived by his nephews and nieces, Scott Burt, Chris Burt, DeeAnn Moss and Jadene Berglund, and many cousins.
A very special thank you to Lavell Lloyd for his many years of friendship and care for Larry. Lavell has been Larry’s “Angel on Earth”.
A Graveside Service will be held at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South on Saturday, May 7th 2016 at 12 noon. A viewing will be at the LDS Winder 5th Ward, 1400 East 4000 South from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
