Larry Dan Lloyd, age 75, died peacefully at his home in Orem, UT, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 after a short yet valiant struggle with brain cancer. He was born on April 12, 1943 in Artesia, CA; he grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, and C Read Obituary
Larry was awesome! I met him towards the end of his life, but it has been pleasure to have gotten to known him within the last 2 years. The wisdom, stories and life was of such great worth! I think his life was very successful and so useful to so many people. "At last free, At last safe, At last eternal" - Seneca.
So, so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was such an inspiration to me as a friend, boss, and former ward member. The staff at ACCI were so close that we felt like family to one another. I always think of those days and our associations with nostalgia. My love and sympathy to all the Lloyd family!
This marvelous man has been a tremendous influence in our lives by his example, his wisdom, counsel and by being a neighbor we could always count on to be there for us when needed. He will be missed by so many who have felt his impact. The legacy he leaves through his family will be felt for generations to come. Even though it is difficult to know he is not here at this time, it is comforting to know he is no longer suffering and that you will all be together again at some time in the future. May all who are sad for this loss be blessed with comfort, peace and the knowledge that he lived a great life here and influenced so many others as he moved along his path. He lived his time on earth in a great and memorable way leaving a tremendous legacy. Our love and prayers for his family.
