I appreciated reading the details of your Lasca's life and it made me appreciate her even more than ever. She was always a remarkable example of being lady-like! One thing I will never forget was letting us know about being proper wherever we go. She didn't have patience for those who were not in class to learn, and that we did. We knew we had to study in her classes and not just slide through a class and get a grade. It had to be earned! Therefore we studied, we acted out Shakespeare and wrote poetry about what we were studying. She had a method for memorization. It saddens me to see the attack of Down-winders especially on my dear friend , Paula. It took Yvonne from us and my mom said she had me in her arms as she'd go out and watch the cloud. It has me saddened to read about your battles with cancer Paula. Saddened that it's causing more suffering. Your family has touched ours for good. Alan was the first one I remember going on a mission. It was so cool! I remember spending some quality time with Annette and she became good friends with Chris and I and I remember your mom thanked us once for accepting her. I was young then but it left an impression. It was a blessing when you returned to live. You will all be blessed for your service to your parents. Thanks for your example in our lives!
