Lawrence "Craig" Jensen's Obituary
Lawrence “Craig” Jensen passed away on November 13,2024. He was born October 28, 1950 to Lois and Lawrence Jensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Craig graduated from Granger High School where he met the love of his life, Janette. He worked as a mechanic his entire life.
Craig was known for his quiet, calm demeanor to weather the beautiful days and the storms of his life. He was a kind and loving man. Craig was nonjudgmental and encouraged his children to learn from other’s mistakes. He used his talents as a mechanic to help others, as there were countless times of having loved ones' vehicles parked outside the house while he worked on them. Craig loved to share clever things with others whether it was a joke, a comic or a funny dog food review, what poor person had to taste this in order to write this review. He liked to try spicy food even though his face would be rosy with tears running down his cheeks, he’d say how delicious the food was and how it was indeed not spicy.
Craig loved all of the wonderful people in his life. When he met you, he loved you! He loved spending time with family. He loved his job at UTA and those he met there. One of his favorite times in his life was serving as bishop for 8 years. Craig loved serving the members of those wards. He would literally give or do anything for anyone.
He is survived by his loving wife,Janette, six children Tim (Kristen), Chris (Malinda), Darrick, Octobre, Brandy, John (Bonnie), seven grandchildren Skyler (Alie), Sydney, Emma (Matt), Siena, Trillian and Spencer. He will be missed by his siblings Suzanne (Fred), Shauna (Keith), Jeanette, Clayton (Kandie), Corey, Cindy, Garth (Regan). Craig is preceded in death by his parents, grandson James Augustus, and brother-in-law Dave Fagnant.
A heartfelt thanks from Craig’s family to Dr. Thomas Skidmore and his staff.
