Layton Allan McKee's Obituary
Layton Allan McKee was born October 12, 1980 in Murray, Utah to April Kay McKee and Travis Eugene McKee. Died June 22, 2022 in his sleep.
From the start Layton was fascinated with trucks, from toy trucks all the way up to Semi’s. His dad was a truck driver and Layton ate up all the truck information he would give. He rode with his dad a lot and made a lot of memories while on the road.
Layton loved to collect: guns, knives, concert tickets, movie tickets, wallets, hats and sunglasses. He was very sentimental and kept these things to help remember good times.
Layton also collected wonderful loyal friends. They were a great support to him especially through the tough times in his life.
He loved Legos, puzzles and car and truck models and could figure them out in no time.
He grew up with his cousins Ayron, Tyler, Ashlee and Wren. They had fun memorable times together at Grandma Faye’s house.
Layton met Brandi and fell in love! She was the Ride or Die love of his life (along with his dog Max). They would go camping, riding ATV’s, shooting, golfing and watching the Green Bay Packers. His dog Max was his football-watching buddy.
Layton had an infectious laugh! When he laughed, you couldn’t help but laugh too. And he had the best sense of humor. His one-liners were Priceless!
Layton went to meet his Grandma and Grandpa McKee (Max and Jean), Grandma Faye Kay, Grandpa Garth Kay, Sister Taylor Lyn, friends gone too soon Max and his Uncle Byron were there to meet him too.
He was driving for Geneva Rock when he passed away. He loved that job driving various dump trucks.
We will all miss him so much but he is happy and healthy. Remember his Laugh, Love, Sense of Humor and anything else he gave to you of himself.
