LeAnn Tack Gomez
May 25, 1969 – August 29, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of LeAnn Tack Gomez, [55], of West Valley City, UT, who passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2024, from natural causes.
LeAnn was born on May 25, 1969, in Santa Monica, CA to Theresa “Terri” Fournier Tack and Dennis Tack. As a child, she lived and thrived in Tustin, CA, Cannon Falls MN, and graduated from Wasatch High School in Heber City, UT in 1987. LeAnn went on to attend Southern Utah University, where she earned a degree in History with an emphasis in Social Services.
LeAnn focused on and lifted many people throughout her life including those with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s offering compassion and guidance to improve their quality of life. She also inspired and loved the children in her care.
LeAnn is survived by her husband, Richard Gomez, daughters, Rachel and Mia, parents, Theresa “Terri” Fournier Tack and Dennis (Linda) Tack, mother-in-law, Linda Gomez, sisters Lynelle (Tom) Scullard and Karyn (Brad) Terry, brothers-in-law, Robert (Annamarie) Gomez and Roger (Brandy) Gomez and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father-in-law, Ruben Gomez, brother-in-law, Mike Dannecker, and good friend, Mark Frazzano.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 1:00 pm in Millcreek Canyon at the Bowman Fork Group Site located in the Terraces Picnic Area.
In lieu of flowers, LeAnn would appreciate donations to your favorite charity in her honor.
LeAnn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
