Lee Lockhart Adams' Obituary
Lee Lockhart Adams passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, September 16, 2019. Lee was born in Glendale, California to George Robert Adams and Margaret Stirling Adams on May 17, 1928.
He has 1 surviving sister, Heather Ross Adams. Lee graduated Olive-Gold High School in Santa Barbara, California in 1946 where he participated in the ROTC program. He attended UC Berkley and was later drafted into the U.S. Army where he became a second Lieutenant in 1952. He married the love of his life, Carolyn Torgeson, on August 23rd 1955, in Oden Utah, at the home of the bride. Lee worked with a number of companies in the business management field which, eventually, lead him to form his own Business Brokerage firm. There he worked until retirement for the next 30 years.
Lee held many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He developed a love for people and enjoyed serving those people throughout his life. He was selfless, caring, and compassionate and valued each individual. He had an eye for Art, a love of the ocean and a passion for cars – but, foremost, and above all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Adams, and 2 children, Ross Mitchell Adams (Linda) and Andrea Adams Wilkinson (William). Grandchildren include: Hunter Adams, Bethany Adams, Cambria Adams, Chelsea Kern (Russell), Alexandra Talbot (Bryce), Tyler Adams (Jessica), Benjamin Adams (Lexie), Brandon Bireley (Nikki), Cody Wilkinson, Sean Wilkinson (Whitney) he also has 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held September 23,2019 at 11:00am in the Hillside Ward Chapel 676 North Eagle View Drive, Alpine, Utah. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 10:45am. Burial in the Alpine City Cemetery.
