Lee Anne Lawson's Obituary
Lee Anne Lawson passed away suddenly due to a heart attack on December 1, 2019 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. She was born April 2, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was married on December 6, 1969 to Wade (Bud) E. Lawson for 45 years. For the majority of her life with her loving spouse (Bud) and raising her children, she lived in Niles, Ohio. She resided in Orem for the last three years where she was known to be loved by everyone she met. Lee also was able to maintain 28 years of sobriety. What she was truly devoted to, first and foremost, was being an attentive homemaker, a loving friend, and a good sponsor. She loved sewing, cooking some of the most delicious meals from scratch, and offering sincere and loving support to her AA family. Whether it was at an AA meeting or at her coffee table, she often offered her love and support. She also loved frogs, her knick knacks, and reading crime mystery novels. Lee had an uncanny ability to show love, kindness, and unconditional support to everyone who knew her. She always knew how to help people forgive themselves in sobriety and rebuild self-love in the most beautiful and effective way. She is survived by her 7 children Daniel Wilkes, David Wilkes, Donna (John) Shea, Kevin Nixon, Wendy Matheney, Erin (Jeff) Coleman, and Eric Lawson; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at CenterPoint Church 1550 Sandhill Rd, Orem, UT 84058 to reminisce, grieve, and celebrate the life of a truly beautiful soul. Calling hours from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM with a memorial to start at 6:30 PM. A memorial in Warren, Ohio to be determined at a later date.
