1942 - 2017
Lee E. Woolsey our beloved husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, peacefully passed from this life on February 4, 2017 at the age of 75. Lee was born January 9, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Les and Lydia Woolsey. Lee is survived by his 3 brothers Ralph, Randy and Jeff and preceded in death by David Brundle.
Lee married Karen Fortney on September 21st 1970. Together they had one child Keri. Their combined family included six children from previous marriages: Lee, Pam, Elizabeth, Jerry, Alison and Brian. Lee was blessed with eight grandchildren; Tiffany, Amy, Tyson, Mackenzie, Travas, Trudy, Miranda and Molly, plus seven great grandchildren.
Lee was well liked by everyone he met and touched the lives of many people. He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered as an extremely hard worker and a dedicated family man. Lee worked for Kennecott for 35 years. After retiring, he held a few different positions before settling down as the Harbor Master for Timp Marina Boat Club. He is finally at peace after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
He was well loved and will be missed by all he touched in his life.
Viewing service will be held Saturday Feb. 11, 2017 from 5 to 7PM at Premier Funeral Services, 1160 No. 1200 West, Orem Utah 84057.
