To the Howell Family - My husband and I owned a jewelry business in Holladay for many years and Lelah was one of our favorite customers and acquaintances. We were so sorry to read of her death - please accept our sincere condolences. Her visits to our office over the years, along with Kay Van Dyke, another special friend, were such a joy and made those days a treat with laughter and just great fun. We retired a couple of years ago and have missed those wonderful interactions. My husband was ill the day of her funeral, so sorry we couldn't attend. Best wishes to Bill and all the family during this difficult time.

Lelah was one of my "great examples" as I was growing up. She was one of my Young Women teachers-I looked up to her in many ways.
Bill-she was a wonderful wife for you. She was outgoing to your strong quietness. You made a very good pair.
