Ms. Lelia kept me laughing. No matter what she was going through, she always had a kind word and a smile for me. She was a wonderful woman. My condolences to her friends and family. She will surely be missed.
My condolences to the family,I am so honored to have connected with Penny a couple of months back. I never knew we were cousins until she informed me that her father was my uncle. I am so glad she shared that with me,and to find out that she is my cousin. She was a strong, beautiful and very blessed woman I remember her from a child but never knew I was her cousin. I am happy to know that I am kin to such a strong courageous woman. I am praying for you all.
Lelia Carter was a woman who spoke her mind. This is why we clicked and became friends after working together for year. She was a woman dedicated to her son, her religion and her work. She was strong to her convictions and was someone you could count on. She will be greatly missed. Barbara M.
