A True Gentleman
Leo Harold Malin, 84, Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on Sept. 4, 2013 of natural causes, surrounded by his loving family. Leo was born January 7, 1929 to Helen Osborne Malin and Harold Malin. Raised in Salt Lake City, attending South High School and the University of Utah. He served in the United States Army Corp of Engineers during the reconstruction of post war Japan. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for various Utah and California companies.
Leo traveled extensively with his wife Sandy, who was by his side at all times. They shared many adventures and deeply loved their home, friends and adopted family on the Sea of Cortez, Mexico.
Leo is survived by his wife Sandy, children Michael (Ruth), Susan Kenner (John), Christine Leonard (Bill), 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A family and friends service will be held on September 20, 2013 at La Jardin, 1910 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah from 11:00 to 2:00 to celebrate Leo's life.
