Leonard Feraco's Obituary
Together again Leonard Feraco, 92 passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born June 6, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Ut to Jim and Anna Rose Feraco. He married Lena DeSimone in Salerno, Italy September 10th 1944. He was a World War II Veteran. He served in Africa and Italy during the war where he met his Sweetheart Lena they were married for 69 Years.
He was an owner of Private Clubs in Salt Lake City, Black Bull,Caesars,Feracos, Iron Horse and Watergate
He is survived by 3 sons, Larry (Bev), Dan(Deborah) & Leonard Jr.(Erin); 5 Grandchildren, Carrie(Eric) Maughan, Anthony,Mike and Jonathan Feraco, Celeste(Justin) White; 6 Great Grandchildren, Tyler (Natalie), Josh & Karli Maughan, Jada Feraco,Sienna and Izzy White; and one Great Great Grandchild Vanessa Maughan and another one on the way a boy and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
He preceded in death by his wife Nov 11, 2013, his parents and all of his siblings.
I want to give a special thanks to Superior Home Care and Hospice to Clint,Anna and Cindy for all your help with both Leonard and Lena I cant thank you enough. Also I would like to thank Home Care Assistant to Sara and all of the staff for all your help you were wonderful without you I dont think I couldve done it without you so Thank you. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, February 13th, at St, Anns Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Committal will be at Mount Calvary Cementery, located at 4th Ave and "T" Street, following the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be may to St. Ann Catholic Church in Leonard Feraco`s name.
