I can't begin to share the memories I have with LeRoy and Esther! They were those amazing people whose influence spread around them like sunshine. So many great examples, but the biggest for me was how he increased my love for and confidence in music. Those trips to Flagstaff and even Phoenix to compete and perform. I remember how upset he was one year when he got an excellent for the FHS choir performance, and not a superior. The band always got superior in those years, all from our tiny high school!
He made musicians out of even the least naturally inclined. How we loved him for it, and how he lifted us up and made us grow by his dedication and passion for his craft! Then of course we benefited in later years from the apples and honey he would bring to sell. It was so great to see him and catch up. I feel so privileged to have been associated with this amazing cousin. Love you LeRoy and Esther!

I was sad to hear about the passing of Bro. Heaton. I grew up in the 38th ward and remember him as a kind and talented person with a smile on his face. My mom (Leila Morris) was so impressed to see that even into their later years, Brother and Sister Heaton would be up front in Sacrament Mtg. leading music or posting the Hymn numbers on the board. A stalwart team! Sending wishes for peace and comfort to Ester and the family, especially during this holiday season. Sincerely, Carolyn
So sorry for your loss. Doug and I were next door neighbors in Orem for years. They were wonderful neighbors. God bless you all. Robbie Clark
We read in the newspaper, that LeRoy had passed away. We have such fond memories of our relationship and friendship with LeRoy and his family. He was such a strength to all that knew him. He was so loving, kind, and reached out to others to help them in their time of need. What a marvelous legacy with his posterity. We were fortunate to know and love several of his sons. Esther and family we know that we all will see him again and that he is in the right place. The plan of happiness is such a blessing for each one of us. We send our love and prayers. Thank you for sharing LeRoy with us, what a blessing.

What a great life of service and love! We are positive that LeRoy is now sitting around with his brothers and sisters telling stories of their youth in Southern Utah and laughing at the stories of Delaun riding a bull during church and all of the other great stories!

LeRoy was wonderful to us. We got honey from him many times and he would usually bring it to our door in his truck. He was such a wonderful person and so loving and caring and kind to everyone.. I will miss him. Lydia Gibbons
I loved being backyard neighbors and Friends with Esther and Le Roy. The Roy was always so kind and full of life. He would tell little jokes at the end of Sunday School class. He always asked for the leaves on the ground for his garden which was in the elbow
