Rick Rohler
Theresa, Courtney, and Justin, I am so sorry to hear about Les. I worked with him at Chromalox.
I met Les in 1984 when I transferred to Chromalox from a Dayton Ohio plant. I was assigned to his cubicle so he could teach me how their system works. We were friends instantly. He was so patient and thorough and so much fun to be with. We would tell each other stories and make plans for things to do together after we retired. All those years of sitting next to each other, working together, made our jobs a lot more fun and enjoyable. We did get to fly together in my airplane in 2010 one time and he had a really good time. One of the places we flew over was the test site where they fired the rocket motors. We used to sit at our desk and feel the building shake when they did that. One time Les rigged up a ruler with a weight on it to see if it would vibrate with the sounds from the rockets. He called it his Reiger scale. I sure miss the good times we had together and I think of you guys often.
