Your dad was awesome as well as your dear mother,Diane. I just love your family and so sorry to hear about his passing. Being with them in the Hopewell Ward/Petersburg Branch to a Ward was such a blessing. I enjoyed being with them and taking your dear mother to the temple in Washington DC. Many memories of Love and support to you and all the family!! Wishing you all comfort, Loveland support during this difficult time. Love Sister Cynthia Clark
We met the Richey family after Brother Richey was stationed to Fort Lee here in Virginia around 1986??? We loved the whole Richey family. The four girls use to sing in Sacrament and Pray & Diane were very friendly and always had people visiting them at their beautiful home. The big yellow house. Ray was very funny always saying funny jokes or remarks that would crack everyone up. I can hear him now cracking a joke with Diane. How we love this awesome family and pray they all will feel the comfort of the spirit during this adjusting period. RIP Ray til we see you at Jesus feet.
So sorry for your loss. Ray was a faithful servant of the lord and I am a better person having known him. May the Lord be with during this time of sorrow

I am so sorry for your loss. Ray was the best brother-in-law a girl could have. He was always gentle, kind and generous. His wisdom, shared frequently, helped me through many difficult times. I will always treasure his love.
My favorite memory was a day that he took Ted & myself out to lunch at Black Bear. Before we lifted our forks to eat he bowed his head and asked a blessing on the food. Very humble and without any fuss he simply gave thanks & asked that the food be blessed.
My second favorite memory was one day He and Floyd came to our home. He brought KFC and the four of us just sat around the table and the three brothers spent a couple of hours talking about their adventures as little boys. We shared lots of laughs that day.
We will miss Ray but I am thrilled to know he is back with your mom, his parents & other siblings.
I pray that Heavenly Father will shower all of you with love and peace.
