Lillian Dee Roberge's Obituary
Lillian Dee Roberge, 78, died September 13, 2012 in her Highland home due to complications from a stroke.
Lillian was born January 21, 1934, in Benjamin, Utah to James and Annie Lundell Cook. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1952. She married Francis Dee Roberge on July 7, 1956 in Pensacola, Florida where he was stationed during Navy flight training.
Lillian and Dee lived in Pensacola, FL / Corpus Christie, TX / Virginia Beach, VA / Seaside and Armona, CA / Salt Lake City, UT and now reside in Highland, UT.
Lillian and Dee raised three daughters, Tonda Ostler, Marcie Friis (deceased), and Ursula Wayman. She has ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Lillian will be remembered as one of the most kind and loving women. She was caring and giving to everyone around her. She loved all children and had an especially soft place in her heart for animals. Lillian was an active and devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary for many years.
Lillian was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcie Friis and her grandson Christopher Ostler. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Ora Leverne, Shelby, James Devere, Bessie, Vaunda Ruth, Joseph Ordell, George Ridley, Max Edward, and Gwendene.
Lillian is survived by her husband of 56 years (F. Dee Roberge); two of her daughters, Tonda Ostler and Ursula Wayman; her sisters Marjorie Greengo and Vanola Mangum; nine of her grandchildren and her nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at the Highland 24th Ward, 5212 West Country Club Drive (10500 North), Highland, UT. A viewing for family and friends will be held an hour prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.), Salt Lake City, UT.
