Linda Bird Nez's Obituary
Linda Bird Nez was born Jan 30. 1954, in Seattle, WA to G.Perry Bird and Ila Dell Evans Bird. She attended Mt. Rainier High School in Seattle and graduated from Righetti High School in Santa Maria, CA. She attended Ricks College and Brigham Young University and later graduated from Cosmetology school. Linda served an LDS mission in San Antonio, Texas 1975-76. She married Rudy Nez in 1981. They later divorced. Linda enjoyed her 15 years as a Staff Asst. at Wasatch Elementary and being a Beautician at her in home salon, "Linda’s House of Hair". She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and being a Mom and Grandma. Linda was an awesome Mother, Grandma, Daughter, Sister and friend. She always put other first. Linda is survived by her Father, G. Perry Bird; 5 children, Jeff (Jessica) Nez, Heather Nez, Melissa (Kyle) Phillips, Heidi Nez, Ryan Nez; Grandchildren, Adia and Liam Rounkles, Brylee and Keaton Phillips; Siblings, Michael Bird, Christine (Rick) McCullough, Dwight (Vicki) Bird,T.J.(John) Bond. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Weber Heights Stake Center located at 1401 Country Hills Dr, in Ogden. Viewing will be from 9:45 to 10:45 am on Friday before the services. Interment will be at the Mendon Cemetery
