Linda Chorak's Obituary
Forever in our hearts:
Our beautiful loving mother Linda Chorak (76) passed away peacefully in Saratoga Springs, Utah around family in the early morning hours of Thursday February 15th, 2024.
Linda was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on August 26th, 1947 to Warren and Nancye (Cissell) Shipman. She is survived by her son Michael (Michele) Chorak, grandchildren Zach and Courtney. Son Chad (Jennifer) Chorak, grandchildren Sarah and Adam. Son Patrick (Tiffannie) Chorak, grandchildren Madisyn and Aaron. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Chorak, her brother Paul Shipman, and her parents Warren and Nancye Shipman.
Linda graduated from Broward High School in 1965 in Broward County Florida where she met her high school sweetheart, our father Robert Chorak. They married on May 18th, 1968. Our parents moved around the country and our mother ultimately fell in love with Native American art and decor in the western U.S.
Our mother was mistaken for Gidget (Sally Fields) when she was younger as she looked just like her. Our father had many fun and loving nicknames for our mother. Linda “OneTwoMany” Chorak, or Linda “TeaToGo” Chorak. Overall, our mother was a wonderful and loving mother to us all and her grandchildren. She worked many jobs and was even an engineer at Southern Bell (now AT&T). Ultimately, she loved being a homemaker. Nothing can replace all the love she put into taking care of us all, and we will forever be grateful for her selfless acts of love and caring over the years. She will be greatly missed by many and the lives who she touched.
