Linda Sherry Grover's Obituary
Linda Sherry Grover was born May 2, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Floyd Eugene Grover and Ruth Homer Maughan Grover. She has a sister Judy Collingwood who, along with her parents, has preceded Linda in death.
In her early years, Linda often enjoyed a good game of ping pong with her dad, playing with her friends and reading.
As she got older she was very involved in a number of programs, including singing and social work.
Linda earned a Bachelor's degree in social work from BYU. She then earned her Master's in rehabilitation counciling from Southern Illinois University. She was very involved in the community and always interested in politics.
She was a very faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life. She held a multitude of callings including: Ward Music Chairman, Relief Society Secretary, Ward Building Scheduler, Nursery Worker, Adult Singles Stake Rep, Primary Worker, Visiting Teaching Coordinator and Visiting Teacher to name a few.
Linda is survived by her two daughters: Jennifer Ruth Carr Reece and Bonnie Jill Goodenough Hill, Son-in-law Ashlon David Hill and her five granddaughters: Breanna Lyn Reece, Maylee Joy Hill, Colette Linell Hill, Bristol Edith Hill & Riley Byrd Hill.
Linda peacefully slipped away in her sleep on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the age of 75. She was surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 31, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house 140 North 400 West, Orem, Utah.
Viewing at 9 am. Funeral at 10 am. Burial will follow immediately at the Provo Cemetery.
