I found this text I sent to Linda in 2021:
I was just making a list of all those who have been a mother to me over the years. After my Mother in Heaven, my earthly mother and my mother-in-law, I put you. Then I tried to think of other mothers that had treated me like their own. I thought, "Surely other mothers of girls I dated treated me like Linda, right?" Nope. I couldn't think of any other mothers that treated me as well as you did. In fact I thought of a few that didn't like me and didn't really pay much attention to me. So, again, I am thanking you on Mother's Day and thinking of you. I hope you are well.
