Linda Lou Schwab's Obituary
Linda Lou Schwab, 67, passed away on June 8, 2026, in Ogden, Utah.
Born on March 6, 1959, in Nyssa, Oregon, Linda lived a life marked by talent, dedication, and creativity. She worked for 20 years at Western Zirconium in Ogden, Utah, serving in many roles throughout her career. Her final position was as a quality engineer, a role she earned through hard work and one in which she took great pride.
As a gifted artist and maker, Linda found joy in expressing herself through many forms of creativity. She was a talented jewelry artist and enjoyed weaving on her loom, knitting, crocheting, and a variety of needle arts. Her artistic interests also included painting, paper crafts, and 3D printing, always embracing new ways to create and bring her ideas to life. She delighted in sharing her handmade creations with family and friends.
Music was one of Linda's greatest passions. She loved listening to music and treasured her collection of vinyl records. She was an accomplished musician who played guitar, flute, and baritone saxophone, performing with both jazz and concert bands. Music brought her immense happiness and connected her with many cherished friends throughout her life.
Linda also loved spending time outdoors. She found peace and inspiration in nature and enjoyed camping and exploring the beauty of the natural world. Whether creating art, playing music, or enjoying the outdoors, she approached life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and appreciation for the things she loved.
Linda will be remembered for her creativity, her love of music, her artistic talents, and the warmth and joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on in the many beautiful things she created and in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Charles Schwab, her son, Adam O. Fries, mother, Sandra Denney, her twin sister, Laura Hanson, brother, Dennis Denney, sister, Diana Christie-Dunn, and sister, Regina Freckleton. She was preceded in death by her father, Reginald J. Denney and brother, Reginald A. Denney.
A memorial service will be held on June 20, 2026 at The Ogden Eagles 975 Wall Ave. Ogden, UT 84404. From 3 to 5pm
Linda will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the love she shared with family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
