Lisa Ann Taylor's Obituary
Lisa Ann Taylor, age 63, passed away at the Santaquin Beehive Home on June 14, 2024, due to complications from an unexpected medical condition. Her mother and sister were at her side in her final moments as she peacefully left this earth to return to her heavenly home and the waiting arms of her heavenly father.
Lisa was born on November 15, 1960, to Bryce and LaRee Taylor, in Murray, Utah. She was the third of five children. She suffered with severe physical health issues for most of her life. She underwent many surgeries and fought tremendous obstacles just to continue living. She truly did her best to bear these burdens with a smile and a grateful heart for the blessings she had been given.
Lisa attended and graduated from Uintah High School in Vernal, Utah. She was married to Allan Wardell on October 11, 1980, later divorced. Lisa lived the rest of her life on her own, with the help of family and friends. For the past several years, she has lived in various assisted living facilities. Her final residence was the Santaquin Beehive Home, where she made many friends and was loved by the people who worked there. Lisa loved living there and was so grateful for everything they did for her.
Lisa was an active member of the LDS church in her later years, and devoted herself to living the gospel and exemplifying the love of the Savior. She loved going to the temple and wished her health would have allowed to spend more time there.
Lisa is survived by her parents, Bryce and LaRee Taylor, her sisters Martene Mackie (LaVere) and Kristy Aycock (Rod), and her brother Glenn Taylor, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer and Susie Taylor, and Chester and Verda Munford, and her brother, David Taylor.
Lisa’s family would like to thank iCare Hospice for their loving care of Lisa during her last days. Special thanks and gratitude also, to the staff of the Santaquin Beehive home, and to her dearest friend, Lynne Cherrington. These individuals loved Lisa, even during difficult times, and stood by her in her struggles. They gave her happiness and fulfillment beyond measure.
A graveside service for Lisa will be held at the Parowan City Cemetery in Parowan, Utah, on Saturday, July 13th, at 1:00 pm.
