I am John Glover a security officer at the City and County building. I have know Lloyd for about 9 years. We talked about elk and hunting. Lloyd wanted me to ride my horse and go find elk and put a GPS tracker on them so he could find them later. We also played jokes on each other, Lloyd enjoyed that. Lloyd I put a tracker on a herd of elk yesterday they should be easy to find. Will miss you.

My memories of your father are ones in which he showed true care and love for you as his daughter. I remember all of the projects he helped you with when you'd bought your home yet how heartbroken he was to have you move out of his home to get your own. I remember he always enjoyed when you'd return home to spend time with him and would never want you to leave. I know he was always happy when you were able to make the family trips and do things as the family. I know he always made it a point to photograph the family events and create lasting memories at those. I know he did his best to prepare your family for a good future financially by helping you all get into good careers and was happy to see you all get your own homes. He did what he could to make sure you had all the things in life that you'd need to continue on and be a success. I know he tried to save and build some good sources of income for the retirement years that he'd hoped to spend with your mom and the grandkids. I feel saddened that he was unable to live up to his desires with regard to that. His heart was one of love and concern for his family and he did his best to make sure that you all were well taken care of and had great futures ahead. I know he loved you each and will miss the experiences he'd hoped to continue having with you each but there must have been greater reasons to be called home that you understand at this point. His cancer was aggressive and despite your best attempts, there was nothing you could do to reverse its course with him. He lived a good life and you will have better to share with him into the eternities I'm sure.

Lloyd saw us struggling with our snowblower one day when it wasn't working and he came right over and cleared our driveway. What a great neighbor!
