What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. The funeral was such a fine tribute to Sister Jackson. She has touched so many lives around the world and left a wonderful legacy in her family. My condolences to Bill and his family. She was truly a delight and inspiration to know back in the 60's in Ojai. I remember her smile, her enthusiasm, her love of her family, her kindness, and her testimony. She was a special soul.
This is for her husband Bill: My name is John Robinson. I remember you from when I lived in Ventura and you lived in Ojai. My wife, Candy Robinson, remembers your wife as a "wonderful person." I hope you are doing well. I think you also knew Dr. Richard Ashby and Judge John Hunter. I had the opportunity to meet with Howard W. Audrey was like a second grandmother to me during my BYU years and I will always cherish her love and kindness in treating me like one of her grandkids during that time (and for her reassuring face when pinning on my missionary tag on Day One of the MTC!!)
Words hardly describe the type of woman she was, but "amazing" comes pretty close. She made the world a better place and that influence on countless others to do the same will be her lasting legacy. May God's blessings rest upon the Jackson family.
