Lois Marie Williams' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we lost Lois Marie Williams, 87. She passed away peacefully in her home in Taylorsville, Utah on July 11, 2025.
Our mom, grammy, gramma, GG, sister and aunt loved God, Jesus and Holy Spirit and now she is loving and cherishing and dancing with them in paradise!
Mom loved to do crafts like sewing, crocheting and painting. She was an avid reader as well. Mom loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
She was always starting water fights with us in our kitchen, which would end up outside in the summer. Although, she would start them in spring too! She was a very bright and funny mom! Mom also loved planting gardens and flower and green plants. She retired from the Post Office in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was there for over 20 years. Also she worked at Walmart for about 7 years, in the craft department. She must of been in heaven there.
We want to send heartfelt thank yous to our home hospice team. The team at Active H helped keep mom comfortable and gave us tremendous amounts of support! We will never forget your loving assistance and standing by us 100%!
Preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Williams, sisters Evelyn, Imogene, Laura, Dorthy and Julia Fay and brother Lawrence (Bingo).
Surviving family members are as follows; Son Roland Williams (Amanda), Son Edward Williams (Lisa), Daughter Marie Myers. Brother Norman Williams (Diane).
Grandchildren:
Lindsay (Brooks), Jaime (Tracer), Dana (Steven), Natashia, Juliana (BJ), Aly (Quentin), Richard (Jessica)
Great grandchildren:
Sawyer, Gabriel, Taryn, Angus, Jameson, Winry, Maes, Jezra, Autumn, Aspen, Stevie and Malcolm
And we wont forget her beloved fur baby Tux, who misses her everyday.
We are doing her Celebration of Life will be held at the Robert G Sanderson Community Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Address is 5709 S 1500 W SLC, Utah on August 2nd from 1pm to 3pm. No refreshments will be provided at this time.
