Lorna Golding Jewkes' Obituary
On April 29th, 2014 at the age of 86 Lorna Golding Jewkes passed away. Lorna was born on March 12th, 1928 in Price, Utah to Loren B. and Olive Branch Golding. Lorna was a wonderful daughter, wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved life and enjoyed every day. She loved people and all those that met her were touched by her special spirit of love and generosity. She had a special way of making you feel the best at everything you tried and as if you were most beautiful or handsome person in the room. Lorna was preceded in death by her loving husband J. Paul Jewkes. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 7th, 1949. She is survived by three children, David, Pauline and Lori and their spouses, Liz, Mike Maughan and Reid Baker. She has 17 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Lorna will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Matterhorn Chapel, 285 North Matterhorn, Alpine, Utah with a viewing prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at the Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East in Provo, Utah.
