Lorrie L Snarr's Obituary
Lorrie L. Snarr, 60, of Copperton, Utah, unexpectedly passed away on June 12, 2025, at her home. Born on August 27, 1964, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to Dean and Leota Snyder. She lived in Butler until about the age of 7, then moved to Butte, Montana, and was raised there.
Later in life, she moved to Utah with her son, Nicholas Larsen. She then met her husband, Shay Snarr, at their place of work at that time in 1993. They were married on August 18, 1996. The two had three boys.
Lorrie’s heart was characterized by love and kindness, evident in her fondness for animals, especially Corgis, and her passion for camping, fishing, flowers, and gardening. With her creative flair, she created personalized birthday experiences and converted every holiday into a treasured family tradition.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Shay Snarr; her son Nick & Daisy Larsen; son Kaden & Danielle Snarr; and son Easton Snarr.
And her three adored grandchildren, who she loved dearly: Roman, Nicodemus, and Esaias, along with Aden, Capone, and Dominic.
Lorrie is also survived by her sister Lenee; brother Mike & Drea; sister Leslie & Lee; and sisters Gayle & Vickie.
Mother-in-law Kathy Snarr; brother-in-law Bill Snarr; Aunt Janet and Joel Bargmann; Uncle Bill and Ginger Faust; and Uncle Chuck & Bobbi Faust. And many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Taylor Snarr; parents Leota & Dean Snyder; grandma Louise Boroni; brothers Ken & Rocky; niece Andrea; nephews Holland & Brandon; cousin Jared; both grandpas Frank Boroni & Faust; father-in-law Don Snarr; and Grandma Ruth & George Saunders.
Lorrie often mentioned that she believed she would never become a grandma. She was so happy to be around her grandchildren as much as she could. She always said they were “so stinking cute.” She made each and every one of them feel special and had an individual connection with them. She spoiled and loved them every day! She was an amazing mother-in-law and mother and knew exactly how to help in times of need—whether it was heartfelt words or coming over to spend time with the grandbabies.
Lorrie’s intoxicating laughter, beautiful smile, and just being around her will be so missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
We all love you so much, babe.
