Loy Beth Evans' Obituary
Loy Beth Evans was born in Provo, UT Jan 14, 1959 to Cora Beth Rostron and Kenneth Keller Evans. She passed away in Orem, UT on Oct 28, 2024. She was 65.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One of her proudest achievements was serving a mission in Birmingham, Alabama. She achieved the rank of First Class in the Girl Scouts, which would be similar to Eagle in the Boy Scouts. Loy grew up in Orem and attended schools there, graduating from Orem High School in 1977. She enjoyed going on many car trips with her family as a child. She loved music and enjoyed singing with the Chauntenettes. She did needlepoint work as a hobby. She liked to watch old movies and tv shows with loved ones. Loy was very sweet and tenderhearted and was kind to everyone. She was always willing to help others when they needed it. She didn’t have children of her own, but loved spending time with relatives. She was like a second mom to her nephew, Kenneth.
Loy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Neldon Pay. She is survived by her brother Bert Pay, Sister Tammy (Terry) Pawlowski, and many other loved ones. There will be a celebration of her life on November 21, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the LDS church at 1700 S 400 E, Orem, in the Relief Society Room. Friends and relatives are invited to share messages and memories by visiting her Facebook page.
