Luane Blacker LeBaron

Luane Blacker LeBaron passed away at her home on July 7, 2020, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Heyburn, Idaho, on October 16, 1939. Her parents were Alma Blacker and Edith Jensen. She grew up in Emerson and graduated from Minidoka high school, where she played basketball, softball, and excelled in most sports. Luane participated in many of the extra curricular clubs.
Luane attended BYU from 1958-1959 where she met her future husband Richard LeBaron in a dance class. In 1960 Luane served an mission for her church in England, returning home early for back surgery. Luane and Richard were married August 10, 1962 in the Idaho Falls Temple. During the following years Luane gave birth to seven children, Rusty, Richard, Ronald, Melanie, Miriam, Robyn, and Rebecca.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Luane never turned a calling down, serving in Relief Society, Sunday School, Young Womens, and Primary.
Luane had an amazing work ethic and was always working on a project of some sort, quilts, crocheting, tole painting, ceramics, sewing, gardening, and baking, to name a few. However, the thing that brought Luane the most joy is family, with 26 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way. Luane leaves behind a legacy of love and service and is known for her unconditional love for everyone. She is a woman without guile and her presence here will be greatly missed. As a family we will miss her quick wit and laughter. We love you mom and we look forward to being with you again.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Orem North Stake Center, 1000 North Main Street, Orem, Utah.
