Lucie Mathilde Boyadjian's Obituary
Lucie Boyadjian died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Orem on Monday, August 7, 2017. Born in 1929 in Marseille, France, she was 87 when she passed away.
Lucie loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a marvelous cook and baker, an amazing seamstress, and gifted interior decorator. Lucie spoke three languages including English, French, and Armenian. She loved her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings over her lifetime including Temple Worker and Missionary at Temple Square. Although quiet and reserved, she loved spending time with family and friends.
Lucie was preceded in death by her cherished grandmother Guldené Baboyan, her father Garabed Boyadjian, her mother Marie Baboyan, and two younger sisters, Madeleine Barville, and Roseline Marini.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Boyadjian, her son Chris (Christelle) Boyadjian and five grandchildren: Tiffany (TJ) Peterson, Rachel (David) Mata, Michael Boyadjian, Emma Boyadjian, and Julie Boyadjian. She also leaves behind nine wonderful great-grandchildren: William, James, Alice, Samuel, Ethan, Thomas, Marcus, Sasha, and Luke. She is also survived by three of her siblings: Suzanne Berthelot, André (Andrée) Boyadjian, Jean-Claude (Jan) Boyadjian.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, August 11, 2017 with a viewing prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the Heatheridge 6th Ward located at 1505 North 130 East, Orem, Utah. Interment at the Orem City Cemetery.
