Lupe Najera's Obituary
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Lupe Amador Najera returned to his Heavenly Father on February 12, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends. Lupe was married to Lori Watts, later divorced. Survived by his children, Melanie (Preston), Sandi (Tommy), Amber (Marcus), Jeremy (Julie), Lupe, Briauna (Cody), Orlando (Brittany) and 13 grandchildren -4 brothers and 7 sisters-Pete, Juanita, Bonnie, Ampero, Cathy, Gilbert, Tony, Vicki, Maxine, Elena, Steven and a lot of nephews and neices. Preceded in death by his mother Consuelo, father Pedro, brother Eddie and Franchesca Vigil (Kiki). Lupe loved hanging out with his family and friends, working on cars,the outdoors and taking care of all different kinds of plants. He also enjoyed playing video games with his grandchildren and loved watching the animal channel. Lupe was loving and kind hearted and always willing to help others in anyway he could. Lupe fought cancer with courage to the end, never complaining and always making everyone laugh even through all of his pain.
A service will be held at the Academy Park Ward, 4605 West Point Drive, West Valley on Friday, February 21, 2014 beginning with a family viewing at 9:15 am followed by a friends viewing at 10 and funeral services at 11. Luncheon to follow. Interment at Mt Calvary Cemetary on a later date.
