Lynne Walker Coffin's Obituary
Lynne Walker Coffin my DARLING BRIDE/ Mother/Grandmother and Great Grandmother returned to our Heavenly Father on March 23, 2014, in the comfort of her own home of natural causes. She was born on July 19, 1937 daughter to Charles Le Roy Walker and Beulah Emily Harrison Walker who have both proceeded her in death. Lynne and Arthur Boyd Coffin were married on June 15, 1953 and were later sealed in the LDS Temple on April 28, 1966. She attended collage at Stevens Henagar, and then found her calling with Valley Mental Health’s CBTU, which is now known as Carmen Pingree Center for Autistic Children, where she worked for over 30 years until she retired. She loved her work helping the kids achieve amazing feats with their education and life skills. She was an amazing Quilter and part of the Utah’s Quilters Guild for many, many years. She has earned awards and made so many beautiful quilts we have lost count. Lynne and I had two wonderful children Kenneth Boyd who married Debbie Collins Coffin and Arthur Scott who married Diane Stephens Coffin and they are the lights of our lives. They have given us 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren that have made our life happier every single day. Lynne is survived by her loving husband Arthur, Brother Charles Barry Walker (Carol), and Sister Connie Blackett. We would like to thank Heartwood Hospice for all there help over the last couple of years. Words cannot express the gratitude we have to all the great people who have cared for Lynne during this hard time.
