Malinda was truly one of a kind. There was no way that you could be anything but happy around her. She had such a way of cheering you up and making you smile. All she had to do was giggle with that contagious laugh and all your cares went away. So many great memories of her and all of the fun times we had at Grandpa Faatz's! Most of them involved teasing and torturing her like little knot headed cousins will do. She always took it stride and teased right along, but when she decided to get even... you had better watch out! She was always great to talk to and always genuinely wanted to know about me and my life and the things I was doing. She always cared for and put other people before herself. I will truly miss her, but I know for sure that she's making people smile and laugh where she is right now.

Some of my favorite memories of Malinda is of us raising our first born children together. Preston and Makenzie were born 5 months apart. We had so much fun taking them on walks, hanging out at Malinda’s, and an occasional lunch out. We could talk non stop for hours, entailing every detail in our latest adventures. Malinda was my first friend after marrying her brother Boyd. She and I lived close together in Lehi for a couple of years, and at the time Boyd was attending school and working full time. The time I was able to spend with her when we had our littles saved my sanity of being alone most of the time. I will be forever grateful to her for that time in my life. As we’ve grown older and life has taken it’s toll, our weekly outings became less and less, but every time we did see each other we would pick up right where we left off. Malinda, I will miss you, I will miss your laugh, and your love for me and my family. Until we meet again and we pick up where we left off. I know you will be helping and strengthening us on the other side. ❤️ Love you Sis - Anna

My heart is aching for your family. We went to school together from K-12. I can’t say that I knew Malinda, but knew her from a far. Our fathers worked together at Eimco and I always that that was really a cool thing. I remember Malinda always had a smile on her face and that she had a great laugh. May the Lord open the heavens and shower your family with the blessings of comfort and peace. I pray that you will let you mind be filled with happy times and the love she had for your family.

Malinda and I were CRAZY back when we were in high school. One night after leaving the Hippodrome, (raise you hand if you remember going there!) we were driving down State and some guys shouted for us to follow them. We followed these boys to the mouth of Big Cottonwood and then stopped. They convinced us they had a house up in the canyon. Being young, nieve, and obviously idiots!, we followed. When we got to the massive gates of the private home we stopped again and asked how we would get out if we wanted to, they said the gate would open when we wanted out. So....what did we do? We went inside!!! Gorgeous house! Hot tub, pool table, really nice. What happend!?!?! We watched Labyrnth with David Bowie, played pool, and when they asked of we wanted to get in the hot tub and we had no swim suits, we bailed. They said goodnight, the gate opened, and we went home. HOW STUPID WERE WE!?!?!
