Mardell was in my graduating class at OGHS she joined the church while Gary was on his mission when Gary returned home I got the opportunity to help him Re-acclimate to civilian life. It was during that time that he met Mardell. They were pretty much inseparable after that. We all went our separate ways as happens after high school, but I can tell you from my viewpoint Mardell has ever been the bright light Gary’s eye. Her light and pure love readily shows in her countenance and has been the spark that kept the home fires burning in Gary’s family. While she’s gone from mortality, Her light still burns just as bright and shines from afar, but not very far. Her star burns brightly and will continue to do so. All we need to do is look up.
