Margarita (Maggie) Franco Aviles' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Margarita (Maggie) Franco Aviles on July 30, 2023, in Farmington Utah.
Maggie was born on January 4, 1943, in Chihuahua Mexico, daughter of Jose Guadalupe Franco and Emiteria Higuera. Maggie immigrated to the United States, living in California, Texas, and finally Utah. Maggie was a friend to all she met and made people feel loved and important. She was always complimenting others, cooking for all who would visit her home, and imparting herself to others.
Maggie leaves behind four children, David (Julie) Morones, Richard (Cindy) Morones, Laura (Jeremy) Bogner, and Armando (Natalie) Aviles. She also leaves grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Klein, Allison Morones, Joshua (Logan) Morones, Mason (Karla) Morones, Braydon (Gwen) Morones, Ryan Morones, Stephen Bogner, and five great-grandchildren. Maggie’s greatest joy was her family and spending time with them. She loved playing with her grandchildren, singing children's songs with them, and making them laugh.
We find comfort in the memories that were created, the love we felt in her presence, and the impact she had on the lives of all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held August 19, 2023, at 11:00 am at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South, Salt Lake City, 84047
