Margo Faccini's Obituary
Margo Faccini passed away at home in Layton Utah on Thursday September28th, in the loving care of her husband Bruno. Margo was born March 22nd 1945 to John and Katherine Purser in Spokane Washington. Margo enjoyed 47 years of marriage to her husband Bruno Faccini. They were married in 1976 at the Yosemite Valley Chapel.
Margo and Bruno resided in Bothell and Lake Stevens Washington until 2015. During this time, they enjoyed exploring the Northwest in their RV and being super-fans of the Everett Silvertips Hockey Club. They also vacationed in Europe and Australia, both of which they liked very much. Upon retiring Margo and Bruno moved to Layton Utah where they were closer to family. She was very active in the Layton and Syracuse Quilt Guilds. Margo most enjoyed time in her quilting room producing beautiful, award winning quilts for family and friends. She also supported Bruno’s interest in model railroading and helped with the Hostler Train Club. Margo acted as the family archivist. She digitized a tremendous amount of family photographs and letters for the family to enjoy. As anyone who knew Margo recognized; Margo was in charge, bold, bright, artistic, creative and generous.
Margo is survived by her husband Bruno and siblings Barbara Voreis, Deborah Newell, Elizibeth Hendricks, Ellen Jones, John Purser, and quarter sibling Sharon Limburg. She was preceded in death by her brother Martin Purser.
A memorial will be held Saturday October 28th at 11:00 AM. The memorial will be held at 205 S. Angel Street, Kaysville UT. All are welcome. Feel free to bring one of Margo’s quilts and a memory of her to share over lunch.
