Maria Guadelupe Barajas Ruiz's Obituary
Maria Guadalupe Barajas Ruiz was born in Poctilian, Jalisco, on March 16, 1946, the daughter of Guadalupe Ruiz and Aurora Maldonado. Maria was one of ten children and was loved and cherished by all her siblings, as well as her nieces and nephews. Maria married Ernesto Barajas Aguilar in March of 1965, together they had and raised 7 children. The family lived in Guadalajara, Mexico, Chicago, Illinois, Los Angeles, California, and finally made their home in Provo, Utah. Maria was loved by all who knew her and was known for being a giving and caring person. Maria filled her home and her heart with the people she loved, this is evident in the number of friends who cared for her and the collection of pictures that filled her home. Maria will forever be remembered as a wonderful mother, spouse, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Maria was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Aurora Barajas, her parents, and her siblings, Raquel, Mercedes, and Pedro Ruiz. She is survived by her siblings, Chuy Flores, Antonio, Ramon, Manuel, Miguel, and David Ruiz. She is also survived by her husband, Ernesto Barajas, and children, Martin, Ernesto, Yolando, Jesus, Rolando, and Sijifredo Barajas. Maria also leaves behind countless number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren.
