Maria Takilang Kabua's Obituary
Maria Takilang Kabua, commonly known as “Komju”, was born on July 13, 1985, in the Marshall Islands. Her parents are Sandy C. Debrum and Lomoro M. Kabua. Her siblings are Lomoro Domingo “Abubu” Kabua Jr., Gregory “ET” Kabua, and Jimata “Jijji” Kabua Jr. She grew up in Hawaii and moved to Utah after trade school.
She is the mother of 7 beautiful kids: Bettylynn Monlomar Morelik, Johnsay Makaulej Morelik, Joshua Rakto Morelik, Paul Kodi Morelik, Ilia Sepe Morelik, Wiliam Morelik Jr., and J’Dy Andrew Balos. She battled cancer for years alongside the love of her life, Hilton Nakkol Balos. She passed away in their home in West Valley City Utah, on July 06, 2023, surrounded by family and friends.
Their home is always filled with family, friends, laughter, and love. She will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 15, 2023.
