Marilee B Campbell's Obituary
Marilee B. Campbell was born in Provo, Utah in 1938 to Ralph and Donna Beard. She is the great granddaughter of George Beard, pioneer Utah photographer, and was an artist known for her pastel work.
She married Milo Kay Campbell September 12, 1959 in the St. George Temple and together they had five children: Brian, Russell and Leslie Kent survive her . Daughter Lauri Davis and son Jeff preceded her in death.
Marilee earned a degree in art education from Brigham Young University followed by study at the University of Utah and at the Birmingham Art Association in Detroit. Her work has been honored with awards both nationally and in Utah. In 1988 she earned the Pastel Society of America's top award for exceptional merit. She was selected as one of the 100 Most Honored Artists in Utah during the 2002 Cultural Olympiad.
Marilee passed away in her home Thursday morning, July 3, 2025.
Services will be held July 10th at 1 p.m. at 2950 N. Canyon Rd., Provo Utah. Family visitation will be at Noon prior to the service.
