Marilyn Joyce Pilcher's Obituary
Marilyn Joyce Pilcher our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away at her daughter’s home, April 11, 2020 in Pleasant View, Utah.
Marilyn was born October 8, 1936 in Gillette, Wyoming to Arthur Ray Christiansen and Blanche Virginia Ocheltree. She attended school through the 6th grade, and was self-taught thereafter. She married Milton Doyle Pilcher on October 27, 1956 in Wamsutter, Wyoming. She was a business owner, keeping the books, processing payroll and running the daily operations.
Marilyn was an avid gardener. She loved fishing and hunting, and going to yard sales. She was also a fantastic artist. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Tammie (Jim) Ames, Cindy Bloxham, Debbie (Mark) Johnson, Marlin B. (Collette) Pilcher; grandchildren, Leland (Wendi) Ames of Pocatello, ID, Scott (Samantha) Ames of Harrisville, UT, Luke (Michelle) Bloxham of Phoenix, AZ, Mandy Bloxham, Colin Pilcher, Marriah Pilcher, Christopher Reynolds; 7 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.
Preceded in death by her husband, Milton (June 5, 2013) and son-in-law, Spencer Bloxham.
